This is a charming way to light a workplace or highlight a centerpiece.  By lighting the armlights only, a warm candlelight glow, to bright functional area lighting may be achieved.  Armlights and downlight together create a bright, cheerful and functional lighting effect.

Without changing a piece of decor, the amount of light in a room can transform it from a soft, romantic atmosphere, to a bright and cheerful circle.  In a country kitchen, keeping room, over a table or dining area, downlight is often appropriate.  The Witches Hat Chandelier is an excellent choice for all these places.

The Witches Hat Chandelier is wired with a three-way switch, allowing for a variety of functions and settings.  You may turn the switch from off, to downlight only.

This effect may be greatly enhanced with a dimmer switch.  You will be able to create a full range of atmospheres, from a soft, warm candle-like glow to a bright functional area light and downlight combined.  Experiment with your dimmer and enjoy the delightful pattern of shade and light that is cast throughout the room.  On a practical note, keeping the dimmer low when switching the light on and off, will prevent any voltage surge and significantly prolong bulb life.
