The Large Classic Double Cone Chandelier (Pierced) is appropriate for rooms approximately 14 X 14 feet square or larger.  It may be used in a slightly smaller room if you are hanging it over a large table.

The above photo depicts a cone in the early stages of being hand-formed on a blowhorn stake.  The bottom detail photo shown depicts a fully formed cone.  

The vertical seam is being "set", using a blowhorn stake, a hand-held seaming tool and a tinners hammer.

It is a more common error to choose too small in size rather than too large.  Size of your chandelier, as a focal point, is very important in bringing proper balance to your overall decor.
A candle chandelier might be a focal point in your decor if it is not possible or practical to run electric service. This can be an elegant substitute.  Augmenting your area lighting with wall sconces and recessed lighting can help achieve the desired effect.
